One of the many contributions of science to modern civilization is the computer. The word computer is derived from the Latin word compute. The literal meaning of the word compute is to calculate. So literally computer is a calculating machine. But nowadays this computer is not only limited to the work of calculation, but its device is now widely used in various tasks. And the magic box called computer was invented by the famous British mathematician Charles Babbage.
Computers can be divided into three categories based on their principles of structure and operation
👉 Analog computer
👉 Digital computer👉 Hybrid computer
On the other hand, based on size and importance of use, digital computers can again be divided into four categories.
👉 Micro computer
A computer is like a mechanical brain. This brain consists of three main parts.
Central Processing Unit (CPU) – The CPU is called the brain of the computer. Because this part of the computer deals with any problem information.
Input – The function of input is to receive instructions according to the data. Keyboard, mouse, disk, scanner, card reader, digital camera etc. are input devices.
Output – The output part of the computer expresses the instructions received on the input as a result. Monitor, printer, disk, speaker, projector, headphones etc. are the output devices of the computer.
Computers and Unemployment:
Computers have played a leading role in reducing unemployment. In the reality of this country, it is not possible for everyone to get higher education. That's why after higher secondary class, many have ended unemployment in their life by taking computer training. Someone is earning by freelancing. Some are doing various types of software troubleshooting, some are solving hardware problems. Moreover, every office is recruiting for the post of computer operator whose main qualification is computer skills. So it can be said that computer has appeared as a blessing in solving unemployment in this country.
Modern life and science are associated with computers in a masterly manner, today people are transforming the previously impossible tasks into possible ones. For that, we should use the benefits of computers to bring the welfare of the country and the nation through its adequate use.
